RPM Creative partnered up with our good friends at Ride Or Cry for a complete overhaul of Pabst Brewing, now simply Pabst.
Through an extensive brand audit and design phase, we landed on a wordmark that incorporated a nod to Pabst’s illustrious past as well as something that will carry them into the future as their company continues to innovate and create a better tomorrow, today.
In the ever changing and competitive space of the beverage industry and advertising as a whole, we found it imperative to create a wordmark that was easily recognizable and capable of flexibility across the multitude of platforms and mediums it would be featured on. The solution was a logo that was easily scalable and identifiable in a range of formats and sizes.
Our next biggest hurdle was the color theory behind the brand. We opted for a monochromatic theme for Pabst. As the parent company, the new wordmark is being used across all of the Pabst subsidiaries, with the need to seamlessly take on the colors and treatments of those properties in any given format.
As Pabst continues to push the needle on innovation and the consumer experience, RPM Creative is very proud and honored to share this brief moment in Pabst’s history and look forward to future endeavors as this rebrand continues to be revealed. Stay tuned;)
